Community Resource Center

Community Resource Center is an appointment-based curbside food pick up service provided by the Houston Food Bank. They also offer additional assistance to help community members achieve long-term stability.

This program provides:

- Nutritious food

Using the Order Ahead platform, curbside food pick up includes the ability to select a pick up time and choose the items you’d like to receive ahead of time online. Shopping online using Order Ahead is available up to twice a month.

To make a curbside appointment:

- Visit the Order Ahead platform
- Select a pick up date and time from “The Community Resource Center at Houston Food Bank”
- Pick up your groceries on your scheduled date/time

You should receive a confirmation text letting you know that your order was successfully placed, if you do not receive this text please reach out to the Community Resource Center via email. Please read the text messages in their entirety as they have important information about your appointment day and time.

Please have your trunk space cleared prior to arrival. When you arrive for your appointment, please park in a marked parking spot and text your name and parking spot to the number listed on the parking marker. Please remain in your vehicle and wear a mask upon arrival to ensure a safe experience for all.
